A $25 registration fee will be charged with your first payment.

Material Fees

We provide most materials for our classes via email or on our student portal. However, enrollment in some workshops, classes or lessons may require an additional material fee. This could include books, songs or other items deemed necessary to fulfill a student's musical journey. All material fees will be discussed prior to charging your card on file.

Provide at least 24 hours notice when cancelling. Failure to provide this notice will result in full payment for the missed lesson/class. Verbally informing us of cancellations will not be honored.

If you miss a class on any given week, and you cancelled with 24 hours notice, you are welcome to attend any other class at your level or below on our class schedule.

We do not reschedule classes/lessons and we do not offer refunds for lessons, classes, workshops, or camps

Stopping or Pausing Classes/Lessons for an Extended Time

If you wish to stop or pause your lessons, we must be notified via email two weeks prior to your monthly recurring billing date. Failure to do so will result in the usual monthly charge.

Student Portal

We have an online Student Portal which allows you to access your schedule and lesson history, cancel a lesson/class, view and Register for upcoming Training Classes, workshops & events, log practice time and download documents from BJM and your teacher.

If you need us to resend your login details, please email us.

STUDENT ATTENDANCE

Please be on time for you lesson, class or workshop. Classes and workshops will begin at their scheduled times. If you are late for a lesson, you will not receive your full lesson.

TEACHER ATTENDANCE

Our goal is to be here for our students at all times. Occasionally a teacher may have a scheduling conflict or become ill. When this occurs we will arrange for a substitute teacher and the student’s lesson/class will continue as scheduled. If this is not possible and a class must be cancelled, you are welcome to make up the cancelled class in any other weekly class at on our schedule at your level or below.

PARENTS

Only students are permitted in the room for lessons. Classes are more productive without parents in the room.

PRACTICING

You should have a dedicated practice area that is free of distractions, including: tv, siblings, friends, etc. Practicing your instrument regularly is the only way to improve and reach your goals. Frequent short sessions are more beneficial than longer infrequent sessions. For example, 20 minutes three times per week will yield better results than 40 minutes twice per week.
