We have many students that are brand new to the piano and have never played. Billy will demonstrate how and what to do as a brand new piano player.
Do I need to know how to read music?
No! You do not need to know how to read music. We will begin teaching you to read music as a part of your piano studies.
Should I start with piano or keyboard?
You can start learning on either a piano or a keyboard. It's all up to you. Some things to consider when deciding include: price, space, commitment, and timeline. Piano's are similar to a large piece of furniture, can be quite expensive, and require maintanence. An electric keyboard is often a more practical choice as they are more portable, less expensive, and easy to acquire.
